Lomography
Conversation with a lomographer

Weird camera.
Amazing what can be done with a cheap camera. It’s a Diana.
Film or digital?
Film.
Good results?
The pictures are unique, funky, often blurry. But always spontaneous. The camera is simple, encourages taking simple snapshots.
You’re a photowalker?

I’m a lomographer.
Lumo…what?
I take lomographs. Photowalkers use fancy gear, cameras with a lot of glass on the front. They’re different, lomographers and photowalkers. Lomography is like note-taking and the camera is a sort of rough pencil. Photowalking is like taking still shots of movie scenes. Funky, sometimes blurry, anything that takes your fancy picture.
