Boiling frogs
Even Al Gore uses the analogy that we are ignoring climate change and doing nothing about it in the same way that if you put a frog in a container of boiling water then he will jump out, but if you put him in a container of cool water and then keep heating the water he won’t notice and will boil to death.
Not true?
Ah, if he can, you mean.
Precisely. Frogs boil to death because they can’t get out of the container, not because they don't notice.
Still the analogy is a good warning. When it’s getting hot, do something.
Mmm. Before you find you can’t get out.
